TERM 4
Just updating the blog from term 4. We got a bit busy with our mahi and life at the end of term so here are the words for each week we missed with an example of how to use them. Maybe I should forward political parties in to this email.
Week 5:Hoatu-Give (away)
Hoatu te moni-Give away the money.
Week 6:Homai-Give (to the listener)
Homai te moni-Give me the money.
Week 7:Kei hea?-Where?
Kei hea te moni?-Where is money?
Week 8:Waiho-Leave (it alone/behind)
Waiho te moni-Leave the money.
Also if you have any feedback or ideas about the kupu o te wiki please reply or comment on the blog (link below). It would be great to see if this has been helpful or not.
Here is a whakatauki or proverb to leave you with...
He kai
kei aku ringa.
There
is food at the end of my hands.
-Said by a person who can use
their basic abilities and resources to create success.
